2002年2月1日朝柱同志出席了省老干活动中心组织的有“一二·一”老同志合唱团参加的首届老年合唱团音乐会。他坚持听完了七个合唱团演唱的节目之后才回家,第二天就发病住院了。第三天王赓是在同段竹荪通电话中才得知朝柱发病住院的情况;当天下午我们赶到附一院看望,因病情较重,医院谢绝探视。后在一楼碰见詹国华同志他讲了朝柱同志的病情,我们请他代为转达对朝柱的患病深感忧虑,衷心祝愿他早日康复;对瑞华同志表示亲切慰
On February 1, 2002, Comrades of North Korea attended the first concert of the elderly choir with the “121” old gay choir organized by the Provincial Lao Gan Activity Center. After he insisted on listening to the programs performed by the choir, he went home and became hospitalized the next day. On the third day, Wang Zuo was informed by the Phyllostachys on the same phone that he had been hospitalized. On the afternoon of the same day, we arrived at the hospital with a visit because of serious illness. The hospital refused to visit. After meeting with Comrade Zhan Guohua on the first floor, he told the comrades of the DPRK. We asked him to convey his deep concern over the illness on the DPRK and sincerely wish him a speedy recovery. We are gratified to Comrade Ruihua
