间:什么是VCD?可以用普通影碟机或CD机播放吗? 答:VCD是Video-CD的缩写,通俗名称叫“小影碟”。它的外形与CD片一样,外径均为12厘米,但内部记录格式则完全不同,所以是不能用普通CD机或影碟机播放的。一张VCD可以记录长达74分钟的声音及电视信号,与LD、CD不同的是:音视频信号全部是以压缩的数字方式存贮的。而LD的视频信号是以模拟方式存贮的,CD或LD的音频信号则是未经压缩的数字信号。如果直接把VCD片放进影碟机或CD机,由于这些设备不具备把压缩信号还原(即解压缩)的功能,所以电视屏幕上将什么都不显示,喇叭也不会发声。

The LD video signal is stored in analog mode, CD or LD audio signal is an uncompressed digital signal.
