本文通过思维试验方法对英语思维形成障碍的因素进行了分析,对汉语本身不利于英语学习的因素、思维定势以及英语思维沟通机理进行了阐述,指出应当区分“英语思维”和“用英语思维”,英语教学的重点应当立足于“用英语思维”突出英语思维的工具价值。在英语教学中要重视个体思维模式的存在,以建立群体英语思维模式和增强英语思维强制性为重点,突破英语思维形成障碍。
