China is the world’s largest producer of textiles and apparel. With the continuous rapid development of the Chinese economy in recent years, the disposable income of consumers has been increasing. The retail apparel market in China has also attracted all the attention. On the other hand, for a long time, due to its export-oriented characteristics, China’s textile and clothing industry has been greatly affected by the export market. With the current appreciation of the renminbi and the downturn of the U.S. economy, China’s textile and garment manufacturers and brand retailers are feeling tremendous pressure.
