高校图书馆人员的素质是时下高校图书馆最关注的一个问题,努力提高图书馆员素质的标语比比皆是,对策也层出不穷。这些对策的实施固然能提高现有馆员的各方面素质,但是短时间的培训提高的也只有技能而已。而在当前的状况下选拔和培训高素质的学科馆员又是一个很棘手的问题,实施起来相当困难。让有学问的高校教师加入馆员队伍是最为快捷实效的途径,通过这些“学者馆员”才能真正发挥高校图书馆的教育职能,能使高校图书馆价值实现最大化。
The quality of university library staff is nowadays a problem most concerned by university libraries. There are many slogans to improve the quality of librarians, and the countermeasures emerge in endlessly. Although the implementation of these measures can improve the quality of all aspects of the existing librarians, only a short period of training to improve skills only. Under the current circumstances, selecting and training high quality subject librarians is a very difficult issue and it is quite difficult to implement. It is the quickest and most effective way for qualified university teachers to join the team of librarians. Only through these “scholar librarians” can we truly exert the educational functions of the university library and maximize the value of the university library.
