After the discussion of the meeting of directors of concrete and prestressed concrete coagulation at the China Civil Engineering Society, it was decided to set up a concrete quality professional committee in Beijing. Liu Xuekui, deputy secretary-general of China Civil Engineering Society, He Guangqian, director of the Institute of Concrete and Prestressed Coagulation, and Huang Daneng and Zhao Peiyu, vice chairman of the Institute, made speeches. Through full discussion, the meeting resulted in the election of the director and deputy chairman and the establishment of the committee’s working regulations (draft) which clarified the nature, purpose, tasks and groups of the committee.
