红花为菊科植物的干燥花,花含二氢黄酮衍生物:红花甙(carthamin),红花醌甙(carthmone)和新红花甙(neo—carthamin)以及20～30%的红花黄色素。在霉雨季节及高温季节容易霉变及生长朱黑条虫,每年6～8月份更为严重。为防止这种现象,曾采用晒晾干后放在木箱内及放置通风处贮藏的方法,但仍不能杜绝霉变及生虫。为此我们进行了一些试验,找到了用甲明矾贮藏红花的方法较为理想。现介绍如下。
