我得知旧京天桥八大怪“大兵黄”的故事,源自读陈建功老师所写《北京平民探访录》之五《“大兵黄”》一文。建功老师专门采访当时的一位老者潘先生,老者曾经亲耳聆听过“大兵黄”的骂街。此文,激起我对这位民国市井人物的好奇心。我以后又翻检了一些资料,譬如黄宗汉主编的《天桥往事录》,就收集有署名云游客在1936年出版的《江湖丛谈》第三集所撰文章,亦有《新民报》在1939年3月3日“天桥百写”一栏中的报道。据说,“大兵黄”籍贯为山东人,原名黄才
