在中国现代历史进程中,中国工人运动起到了至关重要的作用,“推翻帝制的辛亥革命、带来新政治文化的五四运动、国民政府的兴衰、共产党的胜利,甚至1949年以后政治形势的发展,无不深受中国工人运动的影响”~②。20世纪二三十年代,工人运动此起彼伏,同一时期,鲁迅在《二心集·序言》里写道“以为惟新兴的无产者才有将来”~③。文中的“无产者”指的就是工人阶级,可见鲁迅对中国工人阶级不是冷漠的和无视的,而是有复杂、密切的关联。
