南岳祭祀文化是五岳中仅存且流传至今的一种文化,是由历代子子孙孙传承下来的。古代祭祀是一种具有等级区分的形为,以羊头,牛头,猪头为三牲,供品里面有水果,五谷,酒。器具就有鼎,对,壶等青铜器。天子用九鼎,诸侯用七鼎,大夫用五鼎,士用三鼎或一鼎。一般天子驾崩,陪葬的物品中刚开始是青铜器,随着时代变迁,也有木制、陶制等陪葬品。所以从祭祀这方面可以看出古代等级制度分明。本人通过对南岳大庙的3次考察,从家具设计角度出发,浅谈南岳大庙的祭祀器具。
