(一) 跟踪调查L207E型柴油机活塞的“R5”处裂纹(见图1),是造成活塞报废的主要原因。为了探索裂纹在实际运用中的发生与发展的规律性,以便为制定合理的报废限度提供依据,我们对裂纹活塞进行了跟踪调查。首先,将所跟踪的活塞编号并建立卡片,运用中拆检活塞时,用油磁法进行“R5”处裂纹长度探伤,并用超声波法进行深度探伤,并记录该活塞的运用公里数一直到活塞报废。然后,沿裂纹面打开活塞,实测裂纹的长、深,拍下照片,保存实
