我县地处广东潮汕平原,几年来,我们把计划生育工作列入农业学大寨的重要内容,一手抓农业增产,一手抓“有计划地生育”,使人口增长率逐年下降。1974年人口增长率比一九六五年的千分之二十六点三降低了千分之十。在批林批孔推动下,今年又突出抓好一对夫妇最多生两个孩子的工作,使计划生育工作前进了一步。到目前止,全县生两个孩子的二万一千六百二十对育龄夫妇中,已落实节育措施,
