《南京大屠杀》(油画)中国旅美画家李自健作。有人称这是日本人最恨的油画,但不容否认此画也震撼了日本的一些有识之士。如池田大作先生1997年在写给画作者的信中就称:“凝睇《南京大屠杀》,一瞬间我的心停止了跳动。我的心哭泣了”。“这幅跃动着李先生魂魄的杰作,最主要是在呼喊真实”。“一些不可一世的当权者否认、歪曲残暴的历史,恣意妄为,我们要坚决与之战斗下去”。“李先生的作品中,描绘了一个惟一幸存的小孩。犹如他所象征的,贵国人民不屈于日本侵略的凶恶,挺身而起。而今贵国已取得伟大胜利,达成傲视全球的伟大发展,我从·心里为之拍手喝采”。“向着和平与幸福的21世纪,正如李先生经常描绘的。洋溢‘母子’欢声笑语的21世纪,我会进一步贯彻行动”……
