陶行知生活教育理论的核心是:“生活即教育、社会即学校、教学做合一”。“教学做合一”是生活教学的教学论,教学做是一件事,不是三件事,我们要在做上教、做上学。大班的孩子爱学、好问,有极强的求知欲望,好奇、好问、好探索是幼儿的年龄特点。探究既是幼儿科学学习的目标,也是幼儿科学学习的途径。激发探究兴趣,体验探究过程,发展初步的探究能力是幼儿科学学习的核心。大班的孩子特别喜欢动手操作,操作时他们专注的神态会坚持很长时间,不但想知道“是什么?”还想知道“怎么来的?”“用什么做的?”所以,如何在大班正确地投放区域活动材料非常重要,有利于每一个孩子探索欲和求知欲的发展,使每一个幼儿在愉快、自由、合作的环境中进行科学探索。
