从1952学年度开始,初中动物课改在二年级讲授,每周三小时,比原来增加了一小时。这种改革,我们认为是很好的。因为以前的每周二小时的动物课,只能照顾到课堂讲授,不能分出固定的时间作实验,这样就容易陷于“教条”,使学生学得的动物知识,多少欠真实性。现在,动物课的时间既然增多了,就给教师创造了充分讲授,及时实验的有利教学的条件,给学生创造了用心听教师讲授于前,亲身作实验观察于後的有利于学习的条件。总而言之,给教师教好动物课,学生学好动物课创造了有利的条件。动物实验,能引起学生的学习兴趣,巩固学生的学习效果,加强学生的思考能力,使学生认识客观存在的真实性。尤其是在开始学习动物课时,开
