本文介绍的ATMAC微型计算机是美国RCA公司先进技术研究室研制的高速军用微型计算机。它的主要特点是:(1)采用了先进的SOS/CMOS工艺;(2)采用了多总线同时操作的逻辑结构;(3)具有一些高效指令;(4)指令和数据采用不同的字长並分别存在两个存贮器模块中;(5)积木结构,可构成8位、16位、24位、32位等各种字长的微型计算机。这种微型计算机的速度快、功能强,适于在军事和自动化通讯中应用。适于作为卫星、飞船、导弹、飞机及鱼雷中的制导及控制计算机。本文对于了解国外军事微型计算机及研制军用微型计算机有一定的参考意义。
