在重庆成为中国最年轻的直辖市之前,蜀与巴,川与渝,二者间似乎一直没有明显的界限。商周时期的蜀、巴两国,自秦朝统一后,历经两千余年的不断融合,早已如同两只紧扣的环,一衣带水,血脉相连。巴蜀文化源远流长,即便到了今天,四川与重庆,仍旧有着千丝万缕的联系,比如创办于1940年至今仍坐落于重庆的四川美术学院,比如四川地区最受欢迎的重庆麻辣火锅。当然,比较起文化,饮食上的高度一致,有关成都人的慵懒闲散,重庆人的火爆急率,种种,这些因气候差异而起的性格分歧,反倒可以忽略不计。
