百飞秒超短脉冲激光器在生物医学成像、材料微加工等特殊领域有着独特应用。碳纳米管具有非线性可饱和吸收特性,可应用于被动锁模激光器。与传统的半导体可饱和吸收镜(SESAM)相比,碳纳米管可饱和吸收体具有恢复时间短、光谱带宽宽和成本低等优点,已成为研究热点之一。本课题组以单臂碳纳米管为被动锁模材料成功实现了掺铒光纤激光器66fs脉冲输出,据已有报道这是到目前为止利用碳纳米管可饱和吸收体获得的最短脉冲。
Hundred-second short pulse ultra-short pulse laser in biomedical imaging, materials, micro-machining and other special areas have a unique application. Carbon nanotubes with nonlinear saturable absorption characteristics can be applied to passive mode-locked lasers. Compared with the traditional SESAM, the carbon nanotube saturable absorber has the advantages of short recovery time, wide bandwidth and low cost, and has become one of the hot topics. Our group of single-arm carbon nanotubes as the passive mode-locked material successfully achieved erbium-doped fiber laser 66fs pulse output, it has been reported that this is by far the use of carbon nanotubes saturable absorber to obtain the shortest pulse.
