西藏自治区党委、政府对保护生态环境及生态产业发展非常重视。根据国务院批准的《西藏生态安全屏障保护与建设规划》,实施天然林保护、退牧还草、防沙治沙3大类10项建设工程。多年来,西藏在生态保护和生态、特色产业发展方面取得了巨大成就,在实现西藏经济模式、结构转型方面迈出了可贵的一步。为扭转脆弱的高原生态环境做了基础性的工作,具有把西藏建成国家生态安全屏障、实现国家生态文明建设的重要战略意义。
The Tibet Autonomous Region party committee and government attach great importance to the protection of the ecological environment and the development of ecological industries. According to the “Protection and Construction Planning for Ecological Security Barrier in Tibet” approved by the State Council, 10 construction projects in three major categories of natural forest protection, grassland grazing, and desertification control are implemented. Over the years, Tibet has made tremendous achievements in the development of ecological protection, ecology and special industries, and has taken a valuable step toward realizing Tibet’s economic model and structural transformation. It has done basic work for reversing the fragile plateau ecological environment and has the important strategic significance of building Tibet into a national ecological safety barrier and realizing the construction of national ecological civilization.
