Objective To understand the smoking status of pilots in the team and provide references for controlling their smoking rates. Methods Questionnaires, informal discussions and individual understandings were used to systematically investigate and analyze the smoking status of pilots. Results 863 pilots in the team, there are 641 people with a history of smoking, accounting for 74.3%. Smoke age from 1 year to 30 years, an average of 5.7 years. Smoking a daily ~ 40, an average of 7.9 per head per head. Smoking time to holiday and non-flight day more. Daily time and more time after meal. The smoking rate of pilots in the team is lower than the smoking rate of the national adult men, higher than the non-aviation unit personnel. Jet fighters had the highest rates of smoking and bomber pilots, both of which were higher than those of other pilots (P <0.01). Conclusions Smoking should be given sufficient attention to the flight crew members in the team. Only through comprehensive measures can the purpose of reducing or eliminating the smoking of pilots be achieved.
