2008,是一个令人难以忘怀的年份,同时,也是一个注定要载入史册的年份。这一年,我们共同经历了南方冰雪灾害的苦痛;这一年,我们共同经历了四川汶川大地震的灾难;这一年,我们共同经历了百年奥运与改革开放30周年庆典的欢快。在冰雪灾害与四川汶川大地震面前,我们务林人冲锋在前,谱写了一曲曲英雄赞歌;在灾后重建的关键时期,我们务林人更是一马当先,用我们的智慧与汗水浇铸了一座座历史丰碑,为林业产业体系建设作出了不可磨灭的贡献。2007年全国林业产业总产值达到1.25万亿元,比2006年增长17.66%。在目前全球受金融危机影响,经济低靡、国内大部分行业发展速度放缓的情况下,2008年全国林业产业总产值预计仍可达到1.33万亿元,同比增长6.08%,林产品进出口总额仍有望达到700亿美元。这一系列成绩的取得,是全国务林人在各地党委、政府的大力支持下,共同努力的结果。为了表彰在推进林业产业体系建设进程中涌现出来的先进个人,协会和《中国林业产业》杂志编辑部全国范围内开展了“2008中国林业产业年度人物”的推评活动,旨在2009年我国林业产业取得更大成就。通过专家推评并经领导批准,王平等45名林业工作者荣获“2008中国林业产业年度人物”。同时期望在新的一年里有更多林业工作者膺选“2009中国林业产业年度人物”。我们期待着。
