公立医院在国民经济中处于十分重要的地位,公立医院的可持续健康发展对促进人类文明进步和社会发展具有十分重要的作用,是构建社会主义和谐社会和全面实现小康社会宏伟目标中的重要组成部分。公立医院的社会责任是满足群众的基本医疗服务保障需求、建立和完善社会医疗服务体系、帮助政府处置突发公共卫生事件、帮助政府救助弱势人群。
Public hospitals are in a very important position in the national economy. The sustainable and healthy development of public hospitals plays an important role in promoting the progress of human civilization and social development. It is an important component of the grand goal of building a harmonious socialist society and realizing an overall well-to-do society section. The social responsibilities of public hospitals are to meet the needs of the masses for their basic medical services, to establish and perfect the social medical service system, to help the government deal with public health emergencies and to help the government to help the vulnerable people.
