韩国“12.7”溢油事故造成1.1万吨溢油,成为韩国有史以来最严重的溢油事故。据韩国海洋渔业部称,此次事故带来的经济损失约1.04亿美元。然而,影响更为深远的是,该事故再次给单壳油轮的安全性敲响了警钟,亚洲各国政府和业界再度面临IMO单壳油轮淘汰期限的压力。
South Korea “12.7 ” oil spill caused 11,000 tons of oil spill, becoming South Korea’s worst oil spill ever. According to South Korea’s Ministry of Marine Fisheries, the economic loss caused by the accident was about 104 million U.S. dollars. However, the more far-reaching impact is that the accident has once again alarmed the safety of single-hull tankers and the Asian governments and the industry are once again facing the pressure of IMO single-hull tanker phase-out.
