多数天然食物中的核黄素含量都很低,因而我国人民的膳食中普遍缺少此种营养素,患核黄素缺乏病的人数也很多,一般占总人口的10—30%。为了迅速补救这一缺点,有必要利用非致病真菌Eremothecium ashbyii在某些居民常用的食物上合成核黄素,将产品渗入普通食物中供居民日常食用,可以省去药品制造的提炼过程。过去在这方面已有一些试验,但所用培养基原料在本省尚不适合于推广。我们试用马铃薯作为中间培养基以代替惯用的蛋白胨及酵母粉,用黄豆粉作为生产培养基,经过初步试验认为尚适用于代乳粉厂,可节约原料中的核黄素片剂。
