在甜菜种植200多年的生产过程中,甜菜经济性状的提高、品质性状的改善以及抗逆性的增强等,无疑育种选择起了重要作用。然而,以往甜菜的选育工作,尽管对选育指标做过较多的探索和研究,但品种类型的划分和入选与否,仍然主要根据甜莱收获后的根重和含糖率的差异。所以,开辟新的选育途径、通过新的选择标准,特别是生理指标,来进行系统程序的选择、组合、鉴定,从而培育出丰产、高糖、抗逆性较强的新品种,是目前甜菜育种工作急待研究和解决的问题。这对于加快育种进程、进一步较大幅度地提高甜菜生产性能,促进甜菜制糖业生产的发展,有重大的理论意义和实践价值。 In the process of more than 200 years of beet cultivation, the economic traits of beet, the improvement of quality traits and the enhancement of stress resistance have undoubtedly played an important role in breeding selection. However, in the past, the selection and breeding of sugar beet, despite more exploration and research on selection indices, was still mainly based on the difference of root weight and sugar content after harvest. Therefore, opening up new ways of selection and breeding, through the selection of new standards, especially physiological indicators, to carry out the selection, combination and identification of system programs to breed new varieties with high yield, high sugar and strong resistance, Beet breeding urgent research and problem solving. This is of great theoretical significance and practical value for accelerating the breeding process, further improving the performance of sugar beet production and promoting the production of sugar beet industry.
