On April 8, 1997, Nanshen Resource Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Nanshen Company) entrusted Dongbao Shipping Co., Ltd. (Dongbao Co., Ltd.) to transport 216 sets of TOSHIBA air conditioners to Hong Kong Ping An Island in the South China Sea from Hong Kong. Consignment receipts records, the goods for the 216 sets of RAS-13NKH4C Toshiba air conditioner, container number ENSU9509809. Toho placed the container on “Spike-196” but did not issue a bill of lading. The agent of Toho Company shall compile the ship manifest and record the cargoes contained in the above container as “spare parts of air conditioner”, and the consignor shall be Nanshen Company.
