通臂二十四势,由二十四个单打姿势组成,每一势又有很多不同打法。一、撑撑也叫撑捶,是二十四势的第一势。撑的意思有三:1.支撑,2.张开,3.涨开。撑的动作是:以肩和肘关节为轴,由屈而伸,沿直线向前推进,趋向目标。当与目标撞击、接触后,如果目标未被击离拳面,撑力并不停止。这就是古人所说的“撑拳打出着点后还可以打击五尺远”。撑力是垂直于目标的力,“立顶千斤”,所以其攻击力最强。其力点在拳面,其根在后脚跟上。撑发拳向前推进的同时,手臂向里旋拧,拳由阳拳变为阴拳,走的是螺旋路
