英语词汇教学是高职英语教学的核心、难点,掌握一定量的词汇是语言学习者熟练应用英语的先决条件。认知语言学的兴起给词汇教学带来很多有益的启示。本文从基本范畴词汇、隐喻、一词多义三个方面阐述认知语言学与英语教学实践结合的作用。从而使我们纷繁复杂的词汇学习方法具有一定的理据和一定的系统性。
English vocabulary teaching is the core of English teaching in higher vocational colleges. Difficulties and mastery of a certain amount of vocabulary are the prerequisites for language learners to proficiently apply English. The rise of cognitive linguistics brings many beneficial enlightenment to vocabulary teaching.
