The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the following suggestions: To strengthen and improve ideological and political work, pay attention to humane care and psychological counseling, and cultivate a social mentality of self-esteem, self-confidence, calm and positive attitude. This new formulation is a basic requirement for deepening the scientific concept of development and for building a harmonious society. It is also an important measure for improving and strengthening ideological and political work in the new historical period.
