铜蓝蛋白是分布在α_2-球蛋白区域的铜结合糖蛋白。血清铜的95%是铜蓝蛋白结合铜,其余5%是清蛋白结合铜。铜蓝蛋白具有氧化酶的活力,故亦称铜氧化酶。其生物学功能是运输铜和参加铁的代谢,在血清中亦是最主要的抗氧化剂,能预防有害的多烯酸和其它基质的氧化,清除过氧化物。铜蓝蛋白在急、慢性炎症、恶性肿瘤、贫血、胆道等疾病中,均会发生明显的改变。因此,近年来不少人在这方面作了探讨。在动物方面,测定铜蓝蛋白含量尚未见有报导。本人在1983年的实验研究中,测定了昆明种小鼠血清铜蓝蛋白的含量,并发现鼠龄不同血清铜蓝蛋白含量有明显差异,现将实验情况报导如下:
Ceruloplasmin is a copper-binding glycoprotein that is distributed in the α_2-globulin region. 95% of serum copper is ceruloplasmin-bound copper and the remaining 5% is albumin-bound copper.
