胡亚敏教授是我国文学理论与批评界的中年学者,华中师范大学文学院院长、博士生导师,教育部中国语言文学教学指导委员会委员,中国中外文艺理论学会叙事学分会副会长。她长期从事文学理论与批评、比较文学的教学和研究工作,在叙事理论和西方马克思主义文学批评等领域有着深入的研究,尤其是在如何立足本土又合理吸收西方文学批评研究成果方面做出了一些有价值的探索。最近,本刊特约记者李定清就这方面的有关问题对她进行了访谈。20世纪80年代初以来,胡亚敏教授经历了文学翻译———叙事理论———文学批评———比较文学———西方马克思主义批评的学术历程。她主张学术研究应有世界意识和现代意识,认为西方文学批评的借鉴和改造须立足当今、中西兼容、以点带面、重点突破,努力发掘研究对象的建设性资源。她选取美国当代著名的新马克思主义批评家、后现代理论家弗雷德里克·詹姆逊作为个案,通过由走近、理解到对话、批判的具体实践,为中国文学批评建设提供了可资借鉴的方法。她提出的意识形态叙事理论和文化-形式批评的构想,则是重组和融合东西方文学批评的创造性研究。胡亚敏教授认为,人类文化总是在不断扬弃、不断吸纳中发展的,经过消化和改造的西方文学批评可以成为中国当代意识的一部分,最终成为中国文化的一部分。 Professor Hu Yamin is a middle-aged scholar of literary theory and criticism in China. Professor Hu Yamin believes that human culture is always constantly discarded and developed constantly.
