朝鲜远程导弹技术近年来进步较快。一些西方军事观察家相信,这是朝方在引进苏联时期的核心技术的基础上加以本土化改良的成果,朝鲜领导层对发展“战略威慑”能力的坚定决心也发挥了推动作用。7月28日,朝鲜向日本海方向发射了一枚火星-14型弹道导弹。据朝鲜官方媒体报道,这是该国在过去一个月内第二次成功测试这种射程可达美国本土的“洲际导弹”。
North Korean long-range missile technology has improved rapidly in recent years. Some western military observers believe this is the result of the DPRK’s localization and improvement based on the introduction of the core technology of the Soviet era. The DPRK leadership also played a catalytic role in resolutely developing the capability of “strategic deterrence.” On July 28, North Korea fired a Mars -14 ballistic missile toward the Sea of Japan. According to North Korea’s official media, this is the second time in the past month that the country has succeeded in testing such “intercontinental” missiles capable of reaching such a range as the United States.
