In the cold winter of 1958, terrible viral pneumonia was prevalent in Beijing. The pediatric ward of the People’s Liberation Army General Hospital was crowded with children. Young lives were seriously threatened. Mothers do not want to eat nor sleep, keep the child all night long. Of course, we must not allow the revolutionary children to die easily. Some people are anxious to stand still. However, what are some ways to do that? Sometimes, though we have tried everything to rescue us, we have to endure pain. Watched the child’s breath a little weak, then the heart stopped beating. However, some people turned over the foreign literature and shook their heads and said: “Since the horse has stretched out his legs, there is no need for another whiplash.”
