90年代的历史小说创作发生了很大变化,出现了许多极具个性色彩的作品。须兰和赵玫的武则天题材历史小说可以说是其中最具代表性的。须兰《武则天》以“神秘”的整体艺术审美见长,赵玫《武则天女皇》则以其“激情”而引人注目。它们的艺术独创性尝试为当下长篇历史小说创作艺术审美提供了可供选择的多条途径;同时在个性与史实关系处理上存在的偏颇也体现了当下历史小说创作中存在的问题。
Great changes have taken place in the creation of historical novels in the 1990s, and many distinctive and colorful works have appeared. Xu Lan and Zhao Mei’s Wu Zetian theme historical novels can be said to be one of the most representative. Xu Zelan “Empress Wu” to “mysterious ” the overall aesthetic art, Zhao Mei “Empress Wu Zetian” is its “passion ” and attract sb.’s attention. Their attempts of artistic originality provide many alternative ways for the contemporary aesthetic creation of historical novels, meanwhile, the biasedness in the handling of the relationship between individuality and historical facts also reflects the existing problems in the contemporary historical novel creation.
