作为一名军人,既当过国民党军的将军又当了解放军的军长;既与各路国民党军阀打过仗,又与解放军交过手。不仅如此,他还抗击过日本侵略军,与以美军为首的“联合国军”对过阵。从民国中将到共和国军长的董其武,似乎是为战争而生的人物。与各路军阀作战1899年11月27日,董其武出生在山西省河津县固镇村。1918年春,他以优异的成绩考入阎锡山在太原开办的学兵团。
