在平等作为一种基础理念的现代社会,儒家差等之爱看似并不合拍,但仔细分析其逻辑起点和叙事方式,可以发现它至少在两个方面对现代平等具有积极意义。首先,儒家差等逻辑不仅没有破碎平等,并且为平等何以可能提供了一种合乎自然人性基础的哲学说明。其次,肯定差等之爱的积极意义,可以防范现代社会的制度信仰,使社会获得更符合人性、也更加深远的道德基础。正确认识儒家差等之爱对现代平等社会的独特意义,还需要区分自然的“差等之爱”与宗法的“差等序列”。
In the modern society where equality as a basic idea, the poor love of Confucianism does not seem to fit well, but a careful analysis of its logical starting point and narrative style shows that it can be of positive significance to modern equality in at least two aspects. First of all, the logic of poor Confucianism not only failed to break the equality, but also provided a philosophical explanation on the basis of natural humanity for equality. Second, affirming the positive significance of the love of inferiority can prevent the institutional faith in modern society and enable the society to acquire a moral foundation that is more in line with human nature and more profound. To correctly understand the unique significance of the poor love of Confucianism to the modern equal society also needs to distinguish between the natural “poor love ” and the “poor sequence ” of the patriarchal clan system.
