A workshop on promoting carbon emissions to peak and carbon neutrality in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) Region was held in Shanghai on March 25, with the joint efforts of the Branch of Resources and Environment of China National Institute of Standardization (CNIS) and Shanghai Energy Efficiency Center (Shanghai Promotion Center for Industrial Green Development). The event was aimed at supporting green and low-carbon development, accelerating the pace of peaking carbon emissions and carbon neutrality, and leading high-quality development of regional economy through the implementation of forerunner system in the YRD Region.
