Mild hypertension refers to diastolic blood pressure in the 90 ~ 104mmHg without target organ damage. Because mild hypertension accounts for about 70% of total hypertension, mortality from cardiovascular comorbidities is much higher than for severe hypertension. For specific patients, the risk is relatively small, but in public health, the problem is very serious. Recently, the Hypertension and Follow-Up Program (HDFP) affirmed the benefits of treatment for patients with mild hypertension, and aggressive long-term treatment reduced mortality from its cardiovascular comorbid conditions. The results show that: (1) systemic antihypertensive treatment effect is good, the patient can long-term adherence; (2) most patients can control the blood pressure by ordinary method of taking the blood pressure; (3) diastolic blood pressure dropped to 85mmHg or less, compared to 90mmHg, cardiovascular complications Dangerous
