读《狼图腾》前,我对狼这种动物不曾有过好感,当书封面上那双黑暗之中幽深冷厉还泛着绿光的狼眼与我对视时,我竟不寒而栗。尔后才逐渐明白,这或许与我性格深处的弱性有关吧,正如同千千万万儒家文化民族的同胞一般,我不禁为此感到悲哀。 Before I read The Wolf Totem, I had never had any sympathy for wolves or animals of this kind. When I was confronted with the dark, wolf eyes of the darkness on the cover of the book, I shuddered.
