从工业社会到后工业社会,本世纪西方正在悄悄地完成这一革命性的变革。而文化,亦从现代主义走向后现代主义。上世纪末到本世纪初,伴随着第二次工业革命,工业化、城市化给西方社会带来巨大的物质繁荣,然而,隐藏在这一繁荣背后的却是人们精神上的普遍失落。上帝已经死了,尼采的这一痛心疾首的呐喊,预示了现代主义的悲观绝望及其在重估一切价值背后隐含的反叛精神。
From industrial society to post-industrial society, this century the West is quietly completing this revolutionary change. And culture, from modernism to postmodernism. From the end of the last century to the beginning of this century, accompanied by the second industrial revolution, industrialization and urbanization brought huge material prosperity to western society. However, the hidden behind in this prosperity is the general loss of people’s spirit. God is dead, and this bitter cry of Nietzsche foreshadows the pessimistic despair of modernism and its renegade spirit behind the revaluation of all its values.
