作为美术交流方面的活动的报道,本刊在上期介绍了北京日坛艺术厅的活动,从这期开始我们还将有选择地介绍国内一些艺术家的有关创作活动。中国的当代艺术不论其风格流派如何,都是属于世界当代文化的一部分,本刊的主要宗旨是为国内读者开辟一个了解世界当代艺术的窗口,但我们也希望通过这个窗口获得反馈的信息,反映出中国艺术家参与中外美术交流和思考的情况,以便在东西方文化交汇的过程中,为读者了解中国艺术家怎样通过自己的作品来看待自身的文化传统与国际上的当代艺术思潮、了解中国艺术家怎样借鉴与参照西方现代艺术提供一些信息。
As a report on the art exchange activities, this issue introduced the activities of the Beijing Ritan Art Hall in the last issue. From the beginning of this period, we will also introduce some creative activities of some artists in our country selectively. China’s contemporary art, regardless of its genre, belongs to the contemporary culture of the world. Its main purpose is to open up a window for domestic readers to understand contemporary art in the world. However, we also hope that through this window, we can obtain feedback that reflects Chinese artists’ participation in the exchange and reflection of Chinese and foreign art so that they can understand how Chinese artists view their own cultural traditions and international trends in contemporary art through their works and understand how Chinese artists Learn from and reference Western modern art to provide some information.
