The city stadium in Konya, Turkey, looks like a huge football. This monumental building designed by BKA (Bahadir Kul Architects) has a green and white appearance, not only echoes one of the sports that will be performed in it - football, but also caters to the representative colors of the Konya City Football Club. The stadium is located in the north of Konya, 9 kilometers from the city center and covers an area of 450,000 square meters. It includes a football field, a swimming pool, a racing track and a square. The municipal government hopes to upgrade the economy of this region by building sports facilities and stadiums.
