人到老年,听力逐渐衰退,甚至由弱而聋,特别是超过65岁的老年人,或多或少都有不同程度的听力障碍。究其原因,与耳部微血管退化、耳蜗病变,以及全身机能退化密切相关。常表现为耳鸣、言语辨别率差、别人说话听不见或听不清楚、使用电器音量过大等。社会调查显示,听力障碍在老年人群中普遍存在,而其受重视程度却远远不够,严重影响了他们的生活质量和身心健康。有关专家指出,中老年人如果能尽早注意饮食调节,将有助于预防老年性听力下降。
