The theme of Chinese culture is adaptation, not transformation, so if one day it really sat on the driver’s seat of the world’s big carriage, it would not be possible to fundamentally transform the world. Now for Europeans, thinking about the future is a headache. The United States has over-militarily expanding its military polarization and politically indebted. The European Union seems to be hovering near the brink of collapse, and many outside Europe regard the ancient continent as a retired force that can still influence the world through good parenting, but without any courage or ambition.
