蔓荆子为我省野生药材之一,生产于都昌、星子、永修、南昌、新建、丰城等县。最近几年收购量每年约一千余担,占砂地面积約五百平方公里。自中央号召变野生药材为家种以后,各地对蔓荆子进行了人工培植,均获得成功,特别是很多地方采取80%收入为奖励社員,20%归公社所有的办法后,大大鼓励了社員的积极性,认为培植蔓荆子的好处多,卽可以綠化环境,保持水土,不使砂地流失。而且培植方法簡单,不占土地面积,化工少,收入大,更重大的意义是提供了药材資源,解决了市场供应的需要。兹将其培植方法介紹如下: 一、选擇环境,作好准备蔓荆子喜生于耐溫的砂质地,以砂层深厚,含有水份的为适宜。地势低洼,水份过多,杂草丛生的地方,又容易生螞蟻和蜘蛛等虫害,过于干燥的地方和一般黄壤、紅壤等地培植则成活率较低,有少数成 Manzijing is one of the wild herbs in our province and it is produced in Duchang, Xingzi, Yongxiu, Nanchang, Xinjian, Fengcheng and other counties.
