  【Abstract】Successful teaching is a live long continuous experimental process. How to realize effective class teaching is an important subject to improve teaching quality. In this essay, the practice of effective class teaching will be analyzed from four main points and after it, a brief conclusion and some concise suggestions will be provided.

  Teaching is the effective practical activity, discovering people’s potential and promoting people’s overall development. Teachers determine the teaching result and class teaching is the emphasis of teaching. But some obvious problems exist in it, such as old content, boring methods and so on. In order to solve the problems, effective class teaching should be implemented in daily teaching and living.
  The correct practice of effective teaching
  Teachers should arouse students learning activity and let them participate in learning effectively.
  To arouse students’ activity, teachers should create cultivation situation, establish encouragement mechanism, practise inspiration and so on. Among all of them. Teachers’ inspiration is the key. Starting with cultivating students’ learning interest, teachers should enrich teaching content, teaching mode and teaching methods and enhance students attraction towards class to adjust their mental state and promote their learning willingness and activity. Effective classroom participation depends on whether students can think actively.Teachers can not be satisfied with all students making speech without unique thinking. From it, to ask students to participate in classroom teaching effectively, teachers should arouse students learning activity and lead them to thinking participation.
  Teachers should use effective teaching questions to construct effective classroom.
  The so called effective teaching question is the question that can have direct lead in effect, help students to solve the difficulties and deepen their thinking. Good and effective questions should approach students’ demand and be based on the related content with certain depth and difficulties. To these questions ,teachers should give students enough time to think. If necessary, teachers could provide helpful hint, methods or similar material.
  Teachers should provide students with continuous encouragement.
  The so called encouragement is the process that teachers inspire students’ motion driving force and let them make efforts to accomplish teaching missions. To apply the encouragement in management psychology into class teaching at a university or college could drive students to learn and cultivate their learning interest with the aim of teaching quality improvement. Firstly, from the perspectives of psychology and education, it’s unavoidable for students to make mistakes because of mental characteristics and limited knowledge. Teachers should respect, understand and forgive students with essence of students’ orientation instead of denouncing and finding faults with them. In this way, students will feel no pressure and burdened. Secondly, the encouragement should meet personal demand and be reasonable. If students’ learning purpose are all at the same level, students with good grades will feel no driving force and normal students will feel impossible and give up themselves. Teachers could encourage some students with good grades to make their purpose higher. To those with normal or lower grades, teachers can help them to make their purpose reachable.   Teachers should enhance the emotional communication between teachers and student .
  The essence of teaching is communication. The emotional communication in class teaching is helpful for the emotional experiments, such as happiness, excitement and surprise, between students and teachers. In daily teaching, some students don’t like studying because they don’t like that certain teacher. In this way, teachers should keep fixed eyes on the function of active emotion and apply it to promote teaching.

一、案例背景  在英语教学中,最难上的就是语法课。传统的英语语法课教学模式单一,枯燥乏味,学生提不起兴趣、听不懂、死记硬背、不会用,老师“灌”不下去、束手无策、着急上火。在语法课上,教师花费大量的时间和精力罗列英语语法规则,编写大量的选择题、句型转换题或翻译题,进行所谓的专项练习,不停地纠正学生所犯的语法错误。学生紧张地记录笔记,记下老师所讲的每一项语法规则,练了一些历届的中考题,貌似懂了、会了。
