黔中武陵山区的苗族人民,在民间歌唱时,除了运用真声、柔声之外,还在中低声区,用轻轻冲击通过声带和喉头发出一种可称为“喉声”的唱法(谱例中用星记号标明),现在依歌曲的内容,分别对此类民间歌曲,简单介绍如次。 一、哀乐(yue)在表达生活重压、身世痛苦的时候,用喉声来吐述其心情。如《古丈平腔》、《保靖平腔》、《凤凰平腔》等都属于此种。其中“咹’、“噢”、“嗯”等衬字,都是用喉音唱。
