应印度政府邀请、受文化部派遣,2001年新春伊始,我们出席了第十届印度国际艺术三年展。中国展览及代表团均由中国展览交流中心具体筹组,送去了五位画家的共十幅作品。这是我国首次派团参加,东道国很重视,也很友好,竟主动提出延长十天,特意邀请我们参加在马德拉斯举办的一个“国际绘画营”学术交流活动,内容主要是笔会,再加一些讲座、参观等。据驻印使馆的同志们说,这是很少有的事。马德拉斯是南印度的大城市,相当于我们的广州。我们一到,工作人员就逐个征询使用什么材料,如油彩、水粉等,以做准备。我属特殊,
At the invitation of the Indian government, it was dispatched by the Ministry of Culture. From the beginning of Spring Festival in 2001, we attended the Tenth Indian International Art Triennial. Chinese exhibitions and delegations were specifically organized by the China Exhibition Exchange Center and sent a total of ten works by five painters. This is the first time that my country has sent delegations to participate in the project. The host country attaches great importance to it and is also very friendly.
