电视新闻区别于报纸、广播新闻的主要特点在于“视听兼备”。这“视听兼备”的根本特性就是可视性。电视新闻的可视性,决定了电视新闻记者在采访活动中,必须遵循形象采访这种电视新闻所特有的采访方法,充分挖掘新闻事实的形象价值,把画面形象作为表达主题最主要的手段,使新闻事实在荧屏中得以最大程度的形象化的展现,以满足电视观众视觉欣赏的需要。
