据世界卫生组织估计,全球大约有7亿儿童呼吸的空气遭受二手烟污染,这种情况在家庭环境中尤甚。我国参与的“全球青少年烟草调查”结果显示:青少年在家中和公共场所受二手烟危害的比例分别为43.9%和55.8%。以目前我国3.5亿烟民规模来推算,我国遭受二手烟危害的15岁以下儿童约为1.8亿。二手烟对儿童健康的危害,涉及到儿童生长发育各个阶段,胎儿期母亲的主动或被动吸烟,出生后的被动吸烟都能引发疾病,如婴儿猝死综合征、急慢性呼吸系统疾病、急慢性中耳疾病等,诱发或加重哮喘,影响肺功能的发育……
According to estimates by the World Health Organization, the air that some 700 million children worldwide breathe is contaminated with secondhand smoke, especially in the home environment. China’s participation in the “Global Youth Tobacco Survey” results show that: Adolescents in the home and public places were second-hand smoke hazards were 43.9% and 55.8% respectively. Based on the current size of 350 million smokers in China, the number of children under 15 years old suffering from secondhand smoke in China is estimated to be about 180 million.
